Authorised Timbren Distributor (EMEA & Asia) & Manufacturer of Ride Terra-Chassis

1. Introduction

This website is operated by Ride Solutions. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ride Solutions. By visiting our site, purchasing Timbren products, or commissioning a manufactured chassis, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these terms.

2. General Conditions & Manufacturing Sales

• Eligibility: By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence.
• Right of Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
• Engineering Componentry: Customers acknowledge that the Timbren Axle-Less system and related suspension upgrades are technical components requiring professional installation.
• Fabricated Products: For “Ride Terra-Chassis” or other manufactured products, we are responsible for the structural integrity of the chassis as supplied. We are not liable for failures resulting from third-party modifications, improper welding by the customer, or structural inadequacy of a third-party frame.
• Bespoke Builds: Under UK law, “Made to Order” or bespoke chassis are exempt from standard 14-day “Change of Mind” return policies. Deposits are strictly non-refundable once steel cutting or fabrication has commenced.

3. Weight Limits & Legal Compliance

• Unbraked Trailer Limitations: Unbraked rolling chassis supplied by Ride Solutions are strictly designed for a final Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) of 750kg, in accordance with UK and EU law. The customer assumes full legal and financial responsibility for ensuring their final build (including chassis, body, fluids, and cargo) does not exceed this 750kg limit.
• Final Build Liability: Ride Solutions provides the foundational rolling chassis and/or suspension components only. We accept absolutely no liability for the roadworthiness, aerodynamic stability, tongue-weight distribution, or braking capability of the completed trailer once the customer has added third-party bodies or structures.
• Plated Weights: We provide a VIN plate for all manufactured trailers. Tampering with or overloading beyond this plated capacity voids all warranties and shifts full legal liability for road safety to the customer.
• IVA Compliance & Homologation: Our rolling chassis are supplied as “incomplete vehicles” or “kits”. The customer is solely responsible for submitting the final completed trailer for a UK DVSA Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) test, or the equivalent homologation certification in their local EMEA/Asia jurisdiction, prior to any use on public highways.
• Usage Restrictions (Axle-Less™ Systems) Products within the Axle-Less™ range supplied by Ride Solutions are intended strictly for brakeless applications with a maximum GVWR of 750kg. Any modification to these units (including the addition of braking systems) or use on trailers exceeding the 750kg threshold is performed at the user’s sole risk and voids all safety claims.

4. Technical Advice & Fitment

• Fitment Responsibility: While we provide vehicle fitment guides, the ultimate responsibility for ensuring a part fits a specific vehicle lies with the buyer.
• Load Capacities: Advice regarding suspension load is based on manufacturer data. Timbren SES kits and Axle-Less systems do not increase a vehicle’s original Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM); they are designed to support and stabilize the existing load.

5. Pricing, Payment & International Customs

• DAP Terms (Delivered At Place): Ride Solutions ships international orders under DAP Incoterms. The purchase price covers the product and transit freight only. It does not include local import duties, VAT/GST, or customs brokerage fees.
• Recipient Responsibility: Customs charges and local taxes are determined by your country’s local customs authority and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery. Failure to pay these charges may result in the package being abandoned or returned; in such cases, the customer is liable for all return shipping costs and restocking fees.
• International Compliance: Customers outside the UK are responsible for ensuring products comply with local vehicle safety regulations and road laws.

6. Shipping, Transit & Installation

• Delivery Estimates: All shipping and dispatch times provided are estimates only. International logistics are subject to factors beyond our control, including customs holds, severe weather, and carrier strikes. Ride Solutions is not liable for any consequential losses or project delays caused by late deliveries.
• Lost in Transit: If an order is significantly delayed, we will open an investigation with the courier. A package will only be considered “Lost in Transit” once the courier has officially concluded their trace investigation (which can take up to 30 days). Once officially deemed lost, we will issue a replacement or a refund.
• Professional Installation: All automotive components, including but not limited to Timbren SES and Axle-Less™ systems, are safety-critical parts. It is a strict recommendation of sale that all products are installed by a certified automotive technician. Ride Solutions accepts no liability for personal injury, property damage, or vehicle failure resulting from DIY installation, improper fitment, or lack of professional oversight.

7. Limited Warranty & Chassis Protection

• Suspension: Timbren Aeon® rubber springs include a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects, excluding “perishing” from chemical exposure or accidental damage. Ride Solutions acts as a facilitator for this warranty; however, the customer is responsible for all shipping, freight, import duties, and customs charges associated with returning the defective item and receiving the replacement part.
• Chassis Structure: Our UK-manufactured chassis are warranted for 5 years against structural weld failure.
• Chassis Protection & Coatings: Warranties on chassis coatings, galvanizing, Raptor lining, or rust-protection treatments cover application defects only. This warranty is immediately voided by impact damage, off-road rock scraping, use of highly acidic/caustic cleaning chemicals, or failure to wash corrosive road salts from the undercarriage. Surface rust resulting from exposed metal due to mechanical damage is considered standard wear and tear.
• Voiding Warranty: All warranties are void if products are modified, incorrectly installed, or used in commercial racing/competition environments.

8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

• Statutory Rights: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
• General Limitation: Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Ride Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages—including lost profits, project delays, or loss of use—arising from your purchase or use of our products.
• Off-Road Use: Customers assume all risk when operating vehicles or trailers outside of maintained public highways. Our total liability shall under no circumstances exceed the original purchase price of the product.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ride Solutions, its directors, employees, and suppliers from any claim, demand, lawsuit, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) brought by any third party arising out of your improper installation of our products, overloading beyond stated weight limits, or the unsafe construction of a trailer built upon a Ride Terra-Chassis.
• Indemnity Gap: Ride Solutions acts as an independent distributor. Warranties are provided exclusively by Timbren Industries (Canada). Ride Solutions does not provide any supplementary warranty, express or implied.
• Limitation of Liability:To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ride Solutions’ total liability for any claim—whether in contract, tort, or otherwise—shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the specific goods sold. Ride Solutions shall not be liable for any consequential, indirect, or economic losses, including but not limited to workshop labour costs, vehicle downtime, or shipping delays.
• Independent Distributor Status: Ride Solutions (the “Company”) is an independent UK-based distributor of products manufactured by Timbren Industries (Canada). Ride Solutions is not a subsidiary, partner, or legal representative of Timbren Industries. All product warranties are provided exclusively by the manufacturer. Ride Solutions provides no independent warranty, express or implied.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

10. Pricing & Contract Formation

• Pricing and Availability: While we try and ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
• Order Acceptance (Invitation to Treat): The display of products on our website constitutes an “invitation to treat” and not a binding offer to sell. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product.
• Formation of Contract: A legally binding contract between us and you will only be formed when we send you an email confirming that the goods have been dispatched to you (the “Dispatch Confirmation”). Your initial “Order Receipt” or “Order Confirmation” email is merely an acknowledgement of your request and does not constitute acceptance of your order.
