Our Unbraked Chassis Classes We offer two distinct foundations designed specifically to meet the legal 750kg Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) limit for unbraked trailers in the UK, EU, and Asia.

1. The Terra-750 (Adventure-Lite)

• Capacity: Plated at 750kg MAM

• Suspension: 750kg Timbren Axle-Less (Unbraked Idle Hub)

• Best For: This is our most lightweight and cost-effective option. Perfect for DIY teardrop campers, small gear haulers, or roof-top tent adventure pods.

• The Advantage: Falls strictly under UK/EU Category O1. No complex braking system is required, making it ideal for smaller SUVs and crossovers hitting standard trails and greenlanes.

2. The Terra-1500 HD (Expedition-Pro)

• Capacity: Plated at 750kg MAM (Legally capped for unbraked towing)

• Suspension: Over-engineered 1500kg Timbren Axle-Less (Unbraked Idle Hub)

• Best For: Builders who are keeping their total trailer weight under 750kg, but plan to subject their rig to extreme off-road punishment, rock crawling, or deep corrugations.

• The Advantage: You get the legal ease of an unbraked Category O1 trailer, but with massive, heavy-duty suspension components, beefier bearings, and extreme structural durability designed to handle the harshest expedition routes.

Technical Standards & Customisation

• Precision Alignment: Every chassis is jig-mounted and laser-aligned in our workshop to ensure perfect tracking at motorway speeds.

• IVA-Compliant Foundation: Designed with the structural integrity required to meet UK Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) standards. (Note: As the builder, you remain legally responsible for ensuring your final completed trailer passes the DVSA IVA inspection prior to road use).

• Finish Options: Choose between a fully Hot-Dip Galvanised finish for maximum corrosion resistance or a High-Durability Powder Coat. (Designed for the wild, but please note surface scratching from off-road rock impacts is standard wear and tear).

• Hub Matching: We can supply hubs with bolt patterns to match your tow vehicle (e.g., Land Rover 5×165.1, Toyota 6×139.7, or Ford 6×135) so you only need to carry one type of spare wheel.
